About

The Datejust is the watch Rolex has been quietly refining since 1945 — the first self-winding chronometer to display the date in a window on the dial, and still the reference against which every dress-sport watch is measured. The modern 36 mm reference pairs an Oystersteel case with a fluted white-gold bezel and a Jubilee bracelet, all wrapped around the Calibre 3235 — a chronometer-certified movement with a 70-hour reserve, running -2/+2 seconds per day. The Cyclops lens over the date is Rolex-specific and, once you're used to it, hard to unsee. It's the watch you can wear to a wedding, a job interview, and every ordinary day in between without a second thought.

The quiet luxury default.
