Purchase linkAbout
Michel Ducaroy designed the Togo in 1973 as an entirely foam seat — no wood frame, no springs, no legs — quilted and upholstered like a puffer jacket at furniture scale. Fifty years later, Ligne Roset still hand-builds every piece in France, in the same factory, with the same molds. The loveseat is the two-seat, armless configuration — a floor-level sofa that reads more like a landscape than a piece of furniture. Cover options run from classic wool blends to Pierre Frey linens and technical velvets. It's the sofa that made informal sitting acceptable in a formal living room, and the piece your friends will notice before they notice anything else in the space.
French furniture house, home of the Togo.
