Subminimal's Subscale is a rechargeable coffee scale designed to sit under a portafilter or a pour-over cone without getting in the way. It reads in 0.1 g increments up to two kilos, with a splash-proof top surface and a magnetic silicone mat that holds the cup in place. A built-in auto-tare and shot-timer mode make it the scale for espresso — the moment weight hits the cup, the timer starts. Battery is USB-C rechargeable and runs for weeks.
